FP Foundation Theme - ( Bootstrap )

Brown’s Court will house 102 students and will offer them both the convenience of living across the street from UPEI’s campus and the independence that comes with living in your very own apartment. Students will be able to ease into independent living in our purpose-built, thoughtfully designed, fully-furnished spaces, while still having all the benefits of living on res like being surrounded by other students and living practically on campus.

With the pandemic’s detrimental effects on UPEI’s residence, forcing it to scale back on beds and put hundreds of students on the waitlist, Brown’s Court student apartments could not have been built at a better time.

OUR UNITS

Our apartments each come fully-furnished with a soft corduroy couch and cozy armchair, dining room table and chairs, kitchen appliances (including a dishwasher!) and lots of counter space, and so much more. We’ve custom-built and rigorously tested all our furnishings to ensure their quality and ability to withstand the test of time, and the tumultuous nature of student living.

Providing students with fully-furnished units is just one of our sustainability initiatives: by offering students high-quality furniture that’s made to last, we’re able to reduce the amount of low-quality furniture (which is what’s usually within the student-budget) that inevitably ends up in landfills.

Our goal is to cultivate a comfortable, safe, reliable, and convenient environment for students that truly feels like home, and that allows them to make the most of their university experience.

Along with our focus on high design and sustainability, we are also committed to local charitable initiatives including primary schools, community centres and integration services for recently arrived immigrants.

We don’t just manage buildings, we build communities within and around our spaces.

PALAY houses up to 279 students and allows them to make the most of their time at university and in Montréal. Near McGill, Concordia & UQAM, Palay offers students intelligently built, purposefully designed, and fully-furnished spaces.

Fun fact: Palay is the very first skyscraper to be built without using a crane in the downtown core.

OUR UNITS

PALAY offers 3 and 4 bedroom units. Each fully furnished apartment comes stocked with custom-built, high-quality furniture purposefully designed for student living. This allows us to reduce waste at the end of lease terms, since so many students put their old furniture out on the curb, which often ends up in landfills.

Each unit also features built-in storage, a kitchen with 5 brand new, stainless steel, energy efficient appliances, a study nook in each bedroom, bathrooms with shower and baths and in-building laundry.

Being a student can be difficult and overwhelming at times; we understand that students need support, and it’s our mission to provide them with resources that promote exploration, community, and security. PALAY residence can benefit from our dedicated common study room, gym, theater room, and outdoor oasis space.
